Turnarounds run from the day we have the RFT and your source material, not from the day you call. Shorter turnarounds are available on most tenders and are quoted with a fast-track loading before we start. For where these fees sit against the wider market, see our guide to what a tender writer costs in Australia.

02 · ADD-ONS02

Pick-and-mix.

Available alongside any engagement model, or standalone. Every add-on is quoted as a fixed fee before work starts — and where a price says FROM, the range and what moves it are published below. No open-ended quotes.

Capability statement

$1,950FROM · + GST

12 – 16 page capability document. Plant register, project portfolio, ISO statements, insurances summary, referees. Written and laid out to brand. See a complete worked example.

Full build · 12–16 pages $1,950
Annual refreshProjects, plant, insurances, accreditations $997

Typical range $1,950 – $2,900. Set by the depth of your project portfolio and how many project one-pagers you need written from scratch.

Tender review & feedback

$850FIXED · + GST

Independent review of your drafted response against the evaluation criteria. Mark-ups, a score against each criterion, and a written fix list before you lodge. Scored the way evaluators actually score.

Review, score & mark-up $850
Rewrite after reviewWhere the draft needs rebuilding, not editing from $1,650

The review fee covers feedback and mark-up. If we recommend rewriting, you get the fixed rewrite quote with the review — never a surprise invoice afterwards.

Prequalification

$850FROM · + GST

Compiled, written and lodged. Priced by scheme, because a capability register and a road-authority prequalification are not the same job. Start with which scheme you actually need.

Register / profileICN Gateway, VendorPanel, council registers $850
Panel / scheme applicationLGP, Local Buy, WALGA PSP, SCM2491, MAV, LGAT $1,750
Road authority prequalificationTfNSW R/B, TMR, MRPV — Austroads NPS from $3,500

Road authority tier includes assessor RFI responses for 60 days from lodgement. Third-party ISO certification and independent financial assessment are external costs paid direct to the provider.

EOI · short-form

$1,450FROM · + GST

6 – 12 page expression of interest. Standard turnaround 72 h – 7 days. Background: what an EOI is actually screening for.

Short-form EOI · 6–12 pages $1,450
Under 72 h fast-trackLoading on the fixed fee +40%

Where an “EOI” actually requires full responses to weighted evaluation criteria, the Standard tier applies — we’ll tell you which it is when we read the documents, before you commit.

Methodology library

$4,997FROM · + GST

Modular methodology content, written once and versioned, ready to slot into the next bid. The playbook behind it: building a tender content library.

Core · 3 domainsSite methodology, WHS, quality $4,997
Full · 5 domainsAdds traffic and environmental $7,950
Maintenance & versioningKept current as specs and standards move $650 / mo

Scoped from your plant, crews and typical scopes of work. Maintenance is optional and included free in the Premium retainer.

Post-award documentation

$1,250FROM · + GST

Contract deliverables written against the specification, not a template. Priced per document, because they aren’t the same job.

Construction programme narrative $1,250
ITP setMinimum 6 work processes $1,650
CEMP $1,650

Programme narrative is written content — P6 and MS Project scheduling is excluded and quoted separately. Traffic guidance schemes and TMPs require accreditation we do not hold; we coordinate an accredited designer rather than prepare them.

Bid strategy workshop

$2,450FROM · + GST

Session with your leadership team. Pipeline review, bid-selection diagnostic, and a written 12-month bid plan you keep. Free tools first: go/no-go calculator and ROI calculator.

Half day · remote $2,450
Full day · on siteSydney metro included $4,950

Both options include preparation, the facilitated session, and the written 12-month bid plan. Interstate travel and accommodation are charged at cost, quoted and agreed before anything is booked.

03 · BEFORE YOU ENGAGE03

The questions every contractor asks.

01 When do we pay?
50% on engagement, 50% on lodgement. Net 7 days. We invoice by the tender, not by the milestone. Retainer packages are billed monthly in advance.
02 What moves a “from” price?
Three things, in order. How much reusable content you already have. How many evaluation criteria carry weight and how deep the evidence requirements go. And how much of your source material — insurances, plant, referees, project data — we have to chase rather than receive. A contractor with a current capability statement, a methodology library and organised referees sits at the bottom of the range. A first-time bidder starting from a blank page sits at the top. Either way, you get the fixed number before work starts, not after. Our guide to what tender writers charge in Australia sets out the same drivers across the wider market.
03 Is there a money-back guarantee?
No — and we’re careful about what we do promise. We don’t control the price you submit, your prequalification status, your referees, or the evaluator’s discretion, so we don’t promise a win and we don’t publish win-rate claims we can’t put evidence behind. What we commit to is what we control: a fully compliant submission, every criterion addressed with specific evidence rather than boilerplate, and the review rounds in your tier used properly. If we miss a mandatory requirement before lodgement, correcting it is on us, not on your invoice.
04 What if the RFT gets cancelled?
If the cancellation lands before the methodology workshop, you pay 25% — that covers the go/no-go and intake. After the workshop, the full fee stands, but we roll the work into the next equivalent tender at no extra cost.
05 Do you travel, and who pays?
We work Australia-wide and most engagements run remotely — RFT documents, calls and shared folders. On-site workshops within Sydney metro are included in the quoted fee. Interstate travel and accommodation are charged at cost, quoted and agreed in writing before anything is booked. There is no travel loading on top of the actual cost.
06 Can we engage on a single tender to try it out?
That’s exactly what the fixed-fee tiers — Standard, Government and Complex — are for. Start with one tender, see how the process runs, and move to a retainer only if your pipeline justifies it. There’s no lock-in either way, and the retainers carry 30-day notice. If you’re still weighing it up, our hire vs DIY cost-benefit framework works through the break-even.
