How it works

Our intake is staged. Client Essentials is all we need to open your file and start work. Capability & Evidence follows before we draft your first response, and Compliance & Insurances before we lodge it. Each one is sent when it is actually needed. Once you are a client, the only repeating form is the per-tender brief.

Step 1 · New clients

Client Onboarding

The short one. Company details, contacts, and what you build and where — about ten minutes. The deeper material comes later in two follow-ups we send you: capability and evidence before we draft, compliance and insurances before we lodge.

Have these ready
  • Your ABN, and ACN if you are a Pty Ltd
  • Registered office address
  • Name, title, email and mobile for your primary contact
  • Name, title and email for whoever signs contracts
  • A rough idea of the contract sizes and regions you chase

Form 1 of 3 · 4 steps · ~10 minutes

Step 2 · Existing clients

Per-Tender Brief

A shorter form for every tender — buyer, closing date, scope, evaluation criteria, your competitive advantage, and the documents we need to write your response.

Have these ready
  • Request for Tender (RFT) document
  • Conditions of Tender
  • Specification / Scope of Works
  • Pricing Schedule (Excel or PDF)
  • Drawings and site plans
  • Any addenda or amendments issued

Repeating form · 7 sections · ~10–15 minutes per tender

What happens after you submit

After Client Essentials

  1. We review your company details and open your client file the day they arrive.
  2. Within 2 business days, we call to confirm everything and discuss your first tender.
  3. Your company details are on file for good — you never re-enter them. We send the two follow-up forms as the work reaches them, not before.

After each tender brief

  1. We review your brief and tender documents within 24 hours.
  2. You receive a kick-off call to confirm scope, timeline, and strategy.
  3. First draft delivered by your requested date (typically 3–10 business days).
  4. Review rounds, revisions, and final submission per your service tier.
Lead times

Government At least 10 working days 5–7 business days
Complex At least 14 working days 3–5 business days

Frequently asked questions
01 Why several forms instead of one?

Two reasons. Your company profile — insurances, prequals, personnel, past projects — stays the same across tenders, so we capture it once instead of asking every time. And splitting it into stages means a first engagement is not held up by paperwork that is not needed yet: we can start on ten minutes of detail, and collect the rest as the tender actually requires it.

02 How long does each form take?

Client Essentials is about ten minutes. Capability & Evidence is around twenty, and Compliance & Insurances around twenty-five — and most of that one is copied straight off certificates you already hold. The per-tender brief is 10–15 minutes each time. Every form saves as you go, so you can stop and come back.

03 What if my details change — insurance renewal, new prequalification?

Email your updated documents to info@tenderbuilt.com.au and we’ll update your file. You don’t need to re-submit the full onboarding form.

04 Is my information secure?

All form submissions and uploaded documents are stored securely on our Australian-hosted infrastructure. Financial information is held in strict confidence and used only for tender-related purposes. We never share your data with third parties.
