TenderBuilt — AI tender writing for civil contractors
Your tender evidence kept as confirmed records, and a writer that drafts from them. Each project, person, machine, certificate and policy is entered once and checked against the document it came from. TenderBuilt then drafts your capability documents from those records, checks every factual claim in the draft, and leaves the approval to you.
What it does
Drafts your capability documents
A capability statement, company profile, project sheets, key-personnel CVs, EOIs and prequalification narratives, written in your voice from your confirmed records.
Checks every factual claim
Each project, value, date, ticket and statistic in a draft is matched to the record it came from before you read it. A claim that can’t be matched is flagged, and a fact that isn’t held is marked as a gap instead of being invented.
In your design, in Word and PDF
Upload your logo, colours and fonts once. Drafts come out as editable Word and as PDF in your own brand kit.
Learns your wording
Approved sections are saved to your content library and offered first the next time a similar section is drafted, and the draft follows your voice.
Reads the buyer’s document
Upload an RFT, EOI or prequalification application and TenderBuilt finds its mandatory requirements and builds a checklist from them, and flags a clause about AI use or disclosure before anything is drafted.
Tender-response writing
Drafts a tender’s non-price response criterion by criterion from your records and the RFT. Being tested now, and released to design partners once it passes our quality checks.
Returnable schedules in the shape the RFT asks for
Past performance, referees, key personnel, plant, insurances, subcontractors and a financial capacity summary, in Word or Excel.
The prequalification evidence register
Every line, with what you hold, what’s missing and what expires.
A certificates pack for a principal’s contractor portal
Your current certificates and an index, in one download.
Reminders
90, 30 and 7 days before every insurance, licence, ticket, registration and inspection falls due, and on the day.
Phone capture
A supervisor adds a finished job, a ticket or a machine from site.
Documents read for you, checked by you
TenderBuilt reads a certificate or CV and proposes the details, and nothing is used until a person confirms it against the page it came from.
How a draft is made
A general-purpose AI writes fluently about a contractor it knows nothing about, so it generalises or invents. TenderBuilt writes from yours.
1. Your records
The AI is given only the confirmed records a section needs, never anything unconfirmed, and never another business’s data.
2. A draft in your voice
It writes the section, adapting your approved wording where you have it, and stating only facts it was given.
3. Every claim checked
A second pass matches each factual claim to its source. What doesn’t match is flagged; what isn’t held is marked as a gap.
4. A person approves
A named person at your business reads and approves every section before it can be exported as a final copy. How TenderBuilt uses AI.
What it doesn’t do
- It drafts; you decide. TenderBuilt is a drafting tool for the person who puts your bids together, not a replacement for them. A named person approves every section, and a draft can still contain an error, so it is read before it is used.
- It doesn’t invent facts. A claim it can’t match to a confirmed record is marked as a gap, not filled in.
- It doesn’t lodge anything or sign in to any portal for you. Lodgement stays with you, in your name.
- It doesn’t renew anything. It reminds you of your dates; renewal, verification and lodgement stay with you.
- It makes no promise about winning, and it doesn’t compare you with other businesses. Only your people see your evidence. If you would rather have a person write the tender, that’s Expert help.

Your evidence stays yours
- Your records and documents belong to your business. Export everything, every record, document and generated file, whenever you like, in open formats.
- Leave whenever you like. Ask for deletion and, after a 30-day hold in which you can change your mind, everything is deleted and you receive a deletion certificate.
- TenderBuilt staff can’t open your workspace unless you give access for a job you’ve asked for, and that access ends by itself.
- AI models read your documents and your confirmed records only to propose details and to write drafts for you, under terms that exclude training on your data. Each draft uses your workspace only. How TenderBuilt uses AI.
